2011 alpha omega proprietary red

I've been a fan of this blend since about 2006 and really since 2007. Always a decent bottle. Just had a sample of this and for the first time in a long time, I think perhaps they were trying a bit too hard but the blend has too much petit Verdot and it comes across as being more chunky and less elegant than the usual bottling a. In fact it was served before the standard and cheaper cab bottling which showed even better.

Won't give up on it just yet but...
