It seems that every stupid spammer in the world are now claiming the site as their very own. Jackie there needs to be a rigourous scanning of all newbies on the board before they're allowed to post. WWAngryHuhDodgyExclamationExclamation

These toads must like Zinfandel. It took me an hour to clean up that thread today, and a half hour yesterday. My fingers are tired.

There are sixteen or more spams on the Zinfandel tread not counting multiples. I'm finished deleting them until something is done about it.

Wow... I went through new registrations just yesterday and banned about 200 new "registrations" permanently. At that time, there were no spammer postings, however. At least none that I noticed.

Now, they've gotten more aggressive, including 147 new registrations just today. So, as Verne advised, I've not only banned them, I've also changed the registrations again so no one can register so easily... And I deleted all the spam postings that I could find via a mass search.

I'm going to keep a close eye out here for those buggers. I can get tougher if need be but I hate to inconvenience our real people.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Jackie

Damned right!

They're trying but they're not succeeding!
