Many people ahh'e d when this wine was presented. I've not even heard of it. Apparently a 99 point Parker jobbie.

Amongst the other syrahs from SQN and shafer, this one was decidedly higher toned and brighter, less serious. a rather fragrant wood, floral, violet, a hint of gaminess, smokiness, but clean. High concentrated, slightly candied and red fruit.

Not seeing what the fuss is all about.
