2003 Oriel "Etereo" Barolo

Very floral showing rose petal and mushroom on the nose. Spicy red berry with strawberry hints and earthy, loamy mushroom flavors compete against massive, very fine grained tannins. I did detect a cinnamon note on the finish. Needs a long time to tame the tannins. I'll try another bottle in five years. 14% Alc/vol.
