Sometimes we all need a nice surprise. I've been drinking all of my white burgs with very little age on them in the last few years as to prevent them from falling victim of prem-ox. Local wine pusher hands me this glass from a producer I've not had before. What a nice treat. A nicely aged and properly mature Burgundy with a few years on it. Nice texture, smooth, bits of pear, medium plus finish. Maybe I'll let my white burgs go for a it more...
