A bit more reserved, muted almost, is this closed down or more characteristic of vintage? less hazelnut than 98, a bit more diluted, a bit sugary almost, elegant and no less enjoyable but missing the full on effect of the 1998.

In fact, in this case, I might save the extra cash and go with the Cuvee and just drink more. Hopefully this will come around a bit more.
