Krug Vintage 1998
Now this is more like it. The 1998 at this point in its life is everything that you could possibly want out of a vintage Krug. Very vibrant nose, full of stuff going on, toast, hazel nut, orange peel, on the nose, and more toast and hazelnut on the palate, super density, honey, yeast, great texture, great focus, makes you go back and back and back....

Just lovely and if you are going to pay $169 for the NV, this is worth the 40% step up to the Vintage,...just drink less.......oh what am I saying!! FAB

You first get hit by the briocche, the toast. So nice and it is in a great spot right now. The wine has not moved much since the last time I'v had one. Not sure I'd prefer this vintage over say a 96 but it is doing really well right now.
