I had this one night side by side with an all dominating Fontodi 1997 Vin Santos so perhaps it was not a great comparison.

Having said that, this wine is not aging gracefully, at least the bottle I had, it is limp, lacking structure, and had aromas that suggested more decay than nicely aging. Nothing to go back for. Hopefully it was just a bad bottle.
