Well, they got me good! On Saturday I turned the page on a decade (not thrilled) but my sister, brother-in-law and husband blew me away with a huge surprise party at a local restaurant. They'd been planning it since January and not one of the 75 or so people there ever breathed a word of it to me! It was incredible. Many old friends from lots of different parts of my life joined together to welcome me to the next decade. I drank lots of Sangria! What a fantastic success. Sister Dear says I'm easy to surprise because I am basically clueless. I guess she's right! What a happy, memorable day!

Happy Birthday and congratulations on making it in to another decade! That is something to celebrate. And how lucky to have 75 friends who show up for it.

Happy decade breaker Georgie...we aren't going to have the answer to which decade, are we?

75 people! Quite a crowd and it says a lot about how much you are loved.

Frankly, I enjoyed it more than my wedding...sh...don't tell HD...I was touched by the turnout, truly. But maybe it was just the free food...
