I was sooooo looking forward to this bottle.

One thing I noticed when I picked it up was the low neck fill. It did not scare me but it is only a 1990 and most Pavies are filled quite high. So I was already on alert. A friend of mine opend it up and I was about 20 feet away. I hear .."ohhh ohhh". Never a good sign, the cork had shown signs of past seepage.

On tasting, the wine, while still not bad, had none of the vibrancy I was expecting,it was flat,tasted a bit stewed to my tastes...must have been heat damaged. Tough night....
