2005 Mandorlaia Morellino di Scansano

This sucker is just about starting to head over the backside, but it still has the stuff to make it a really nice food wine. Nice base of Sangiovese with some Cab Sauv for backbone - and that's a good thing. Made an Italian type tomato soup w/ balsamic vinegar. Also made a Tuscan loaf (took 2 days w/ the sponge). All told the entire package was well put together.
