14.5% alcohol. Fun, fresh, fruity, vibrant Merlot--don't seek serious depth here. Finishes with fuzzy subtle tannins. Ripe berries. Marries red and black fruits on the tastebuds. This is a favorite of one of the partners in a local wine and beer store.

I agree. Had it at the beach last weekend brought down by my wife's best friend Ann. The girls liked it, but not so much I.

Love the Horse Heaven Hills stuff - but maybe not this one. BTW, those of us who made the WA offline had a dinner with Jarrod Boyle of Alexandria Nicole, who was at the forefront of the push to make the Horse Heaven Hills an appelation. Also, we carry a beer from Dogfish Head called Noble Rot, which is made with Alexandria Nicole botritised Viognier. Small world.

I'm missing something on Merlot.... can't seem to think of it as anything more than a blending grape. Can't find a TN in the notes where I've ever been smitten by Merlot as a stand-alone grape. Surely just my deficiency, not the grape's.
