2000 Chateau Charmes-Godard

Full bodied and starting to strut it's stuff. The nose alone is worth opening this bottle with violets, cedar, dark plum and earthy scents. The palate is not quite as rich as the nose but, in the glass for a while, dark plum, dark fruit, dark cherry, tobacco and loamy soil flavors abound. A really nice wine for about $14 purchased last week. Needs more time. 13% Alc/vol.
