2009 Monte Nereto Rosso Piceno

Decided to make some pasta last night and wanted something different than the usual Chianti or other such. Chose this wine from the Marche, and we weren't disappointed. Comprised of 50% Sangiovese, 40% Montepulciano and 10% Cab Sauv. Wonderfully fruity with a good acid core. It beautifully complemented the tomato based sauce and garlic bread. I wholeheartidly recommend this one, and we will definitely be serving it again.
