Les Domaines Grassa Bas-Armagnac "Reserve"

This is a really nice inexpensive (<$40) armagnac. It doesn't have a ton of character, as might be expected from the vague "reserve" label and the price, but it's nice and mellow, with enough dried fruit and flowers to keep it interesting. Much better than any Armagnac I've had at the price, and comparable to some of the best value Cognac's (Pierre Ferrand Ambre, for instance). Amazing? No. Super value? Yes.
