2008 The Spanish Quarter, Cabernet Sauvignon-Tempranillo ($8.52 U.S. after discount). Alcohol level: 13.5%). It has a beautiful purple-red color. It gives you dark cherries and blackberries on the nose and upfront. In the middle you get for fruit, hints of spice and chocolate, and a full body with smooth tannin. It also gives a nice finish.

We matched it with macaroni (penne) and cheese (Spanish Manchego), and spinach. Great Friday night dinner.
