This new premium bottling from Tom. Decided to open the 00 after BRW told me he was coming off a sabbatical. About as good as a mature Cali Pinot can get IMHO. Sparkling ruby. No bricking. Mature nose of straw and raspberries, leather, barny, and lovely sweet spice. Seamless from the entry to the tonsils. Some keen stuff that welcomed the Red-Man back into the drinking fold. WW

Had another with lunch yesterday. Intense potion. Concentrated juice that 'kaint possibly get no better. Will hold easily for another 2-5. Wish the mity Tom gave a little larger allotment 3 bottles done go too far. WW

I would have thought someone as tight with Tom could have scored more than three.

You disappoint me,Verne. You, of all people, should have a deep, deep in with all the gliterati of Napa Valley as well as Sonoma County - and don't be pulling that POOR relative from Shawnee jazz. You haven't been poor since Christ was a corporal.

Just to clear the air Tom D is the winemaker with more scruples than any other I've met. He only had one barrel of the High Plains so it was three and out no matter what you spent with him a year. Have to respect this. WW
