Talked to Mike Dutton and he is a mile and half from the beach at Virginia Beach. He is well prepared, still had power, but had gas generator at the ready.

Verne told me he talked to Drew, and he is hunkering down.

The only concern we have is that the cumulative power outages could result is a disruption of the grid, and a widearea blackout. We have a three day supply of propane for our generator, and can get more if necessary.

Eileen and I are fine but a little shaken from the experience. I posted pics and some thoughts here.
