The verdict just came thru on the Caey Anthony trial and can you believe.........NOT GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If ever justice was ever blind this sucker was denied a cane or a dog. Mite get 4 years for lying to police. WW :-( :-( :-(

no kidding. I do feel like the prosecution did a bad job. But I still like to point out that we do have a fair justice system the issue with this case was "reasonable doubt" for which her lying was complicit in her guilt, or thats more or less the perception we have...

I think the police were the ones to blame, even though Bev is related to one of them. If they had responded in August instead of December the would have had all the evidence they needed IMHO.

Alex and IK are spot on. Lying about something in the course of events is not necessarily an establishment of guilt. To establish guilt, it's up to police and prosecutors to do their jobs properly so that a jury is given evidence that proves guilt beyond reasonable doubt. If the trial didn't do that, then the jury did its job as it is supposed to do its job.
