How long can i keep them

For how long can i keep unopen red and white wines? Can i store wines up to 10 or 20 years? Will the wine age or will it turn bad after storing for so long.

Hi Calvin, and welcome to the Wine Board. In your climate, the short answer is not very long unless you have a temperature/humidity control system. Most wine, and almost all whites are ready to drink upon release. In proper storage, these same wines will last from two to five years longer.<P>There are a handful of wines in the world suitable for long term aging, again in proper storage conditions. These include Barolo, Barbaresco, and Brunello from Italy. Most Bordeaux and Upper Rhones from France, as well as many California Cabernet Sauvignons and certain Australian Shiraz.
