Anyone have any idea what a good asking price for this wine would be? Stored properly.

Hi 4 Seasons. I've seen retail pricing on this from 800 to 1100. Take your pick. Forget the date but opened a bottle of the 750 not too long ago and it was drinking goodly. WW

Thanks, have a guy who is trying to sell it and haven't seen a 3.0ltr around for some time. Wasn't sure what it was valued at.

The price I gave is full retail. Unless the seller can give you the full provenance on the wine I wouldn't give anywhere near to 50% of the above. WW

He wants $1500 and I told him he was out of his mind. No one is going to pay that much for it. I just needed a confirmation that he was indeed "out of his mind”.

On a secondary note - if you know of anyone who is looking to sell any screaming eagle, I am looking to buy - I have a guy who bought my last two bottles and would like more.

Removed myself ftom the mailing list after the 97 vintage. Does anyone ever drink any of this juice or does total production go into the secondary market? We drank a 94 and frankly, IMHO I've had 10-20 94s' that my ole' jaded palate prefers. WW
