Well, I believe Bucko's right--no way this 520-unit contraption is going to hold me for long! Turns out I need a couple extra shelves, and with those, it will basically be full--with only about 380 or so bottles! <IMG SRC="http://www.wines.com/ubb2/biggrin.gif"><P>I don't have it as maxed out as possible, due to the fact that the sliding shelves don't hold as much as it could otherwise, and I've got a couple of cases in the original boxes that take up some extra room. Suffice to say, however, that due to the relatively small confines of NYC apartments, "the boss" surely will put the brakes on anything further. I told her that new wine will be going to a wine storage facility, and so far, she's handling that pretty well... <IMG SRC="http://www.wines.com/ubb2/wink.gif"><P>I went to a business dinner the other night, where the discussion quickly turned to wine. I found out that a couple of my associates are also wine buffs, to put it lightly. One has 1,000+ in his cellar, specializing on Italy, and the other has 10-12,000!!! (that's bottles, not dollars of inventory). I mentioned this to my wife, thinking that might be a good strategy for more storage; you know, "Honey, Joe has 10-12,000 in his, so surely you won't mind if I get another..."<P>She wasn't buying.<P>RAD
