Only one vintage of this to try.but this is a very different wine. much more massive in density of flavors, more forward, nose is flamboyant compared with the other wines of the night, much more masculine in strength, more depth but lacking some of the layers of the Le Vigne. Frankly an impressive and great wine but not sure that it will last as long as the 04 Le vigne nor will it reach that place in as nice a state as the 2004 Le Vigne. Still for a fresh '07 Barolo, this was impressive.
