help please

my grandfather recently passed away and while going through his house we found the following uncorked bottle.

CYPRUS- Commandaria "Special White Sweet Wine" from 1947

can anyone please help my find out anything about this? i Googled the Cyprus Commandaria but really got no help.

This is a cheap sweet wine made in Cyprus from Mavro and Xynisteri grapes. There is no collector's value. It may still be alive. Give it a try.
