Fitou, Corbières. Grenache, Carignan and Syrah blend.

Bought a bunch of these some years ago at a very good price and they drank well young. Very floral upon opening. Violets, black fruit and herb on the nose. Very concentrated and somewhat heavy on the palate with black fruit, blackberry, thyme, herbs de provence and mineral. Tannins kicked in after an hour masking some of the fruit on the linguring finish. 13.5% Alc./Vol. Nice at first but grew tiring after a while...not sure where this is going.

You had me until the very end. Find that it's much easier to become tired as my numbers pile up. WW
