Happy Independence Day everyone. Hope your day is safe, happy, and wine filled. Remember that neither wine nor freedom comes free, even if you make it yourself.

Back at you. It is the obligatory BBQ at the Buckner's house, homebrew, wine, and watching fireworks out on the deck.

Happy 4th. to all...unfortunately I'll be working but my thoughts are to those who sacrificed so that we may live with choices.

Hope you're all having a great 4th! I'm sitting in an Internet cafe in Dublin, Ireland. The politics here are certainly interesting...

The locals here need no special occasion to imbibe in the 'Black Gold of Dublin', otherwise known as Guinness.

Cheers!

Jackie

I'm a bit late with the greetings, but hope all of you had a wonderful Fourth.

We had the usual neighborhood bash, with hamburgers, hot-dogs, slaw, deviled eggs, potato salad and more pot-luck sweets than you could shake a stick at!

Not much wine though, this area is more into beer and jello-shooters for the Fourth. I, however, celebrated early with one of my last bottles of Cline Cellars 1996 Cotes D'Oakley! Nice wine, nice day, great fireworks!
