Had a late dinner tonight in Toronto downtown on Queen street. This area when I went to engineering school was an absolute urban edgy area. The restaurant was around then (called Sushi Time).

The area is not hipster central (one street south is Richmond street area which has the highest density of nightclubs in the world except for Miami).

The restaurant has been recently renovated and is now as hip as the rest of the area. Fortunately the food is still good and cheap.

Had a bit of sushi to night including a few Uni sushi (sea urchin). Paired it with this draft sushi (which apparently is more like a beer).

14% alcohol but it tastes higher than that. Served chilled, it is very clear, very round and smooth in the mouth, slightly sweet (from the alcohol and hints of tropical fruit like pineapple and coconuts. The alcohol is preventent and much more up front than the 14% would suggest.
