Anyone try these vintage dated Cognac's from Pierre Ferrand? Much like the Ancestral bottling, this bottle smells so very good even when not opened!!

Haven't tried that one yet, but did have the Ferrand Ambre yesterday. That's actually the XO version of Ferrand (according to the rep). It was very, very good - sort of viscous, extremely smooth, quite delicious - and not at all expensive.

That's why I love PF! Great QPR! Selection des Ange use to be around $110-$120 and it blew pretty much anything else 2x it's price off the table (IMHO). Even now at $139 its a good deal...but I consistently get deals walking through the Duty Free shop at Heathrow......Lots of good 2 for 79/89/99 GBP so that is hard to beat..... I wish they sold PF there.
