About to open VinElla or Woodinville. I'm exhausted but I like the shop and am more than ready to fling open the portals and move some juice. What a freakin' ORDEAL this has been, on almost every front, helped only by some truly remarkable support from our local WA wine community. We open the 12th. Drop by and say hi.

Hey Steve,

What's the address? I live on the Seattle side of the lake, but work in Bellevue and I'd love to stop by.

Harry

Oops...address. That'd help find us, huh?

13120 NE 177th Place, A-104
Woodinville, WA 98072

Phone: 425.358.0905

Directions: North or southbound on I-405, take the exit to Route 522, Woodinville/Monroe, eastbound. First exit off that to downtown Woodinville. Right at top of ramp, immediately get into your left lane and take the first left into WoodCreek Center. We're all the way at the left end, in the odd, semi-circular space.

Shipping: I've wrestled with that for two solid months and finally decided that we will probably ship but that frunction is being set up as a separate business that Judye's daughter Shannon will run. It'll take us a couple of months to set it up but I hope to get going by the holidays. I wasn't going to do it at all but I've gotten a mini-flood of emails and calls about getting Betz, Baer, Kennedy Shah, Austin Robaire, DeLille, Matthews, Owen Sullivan and some of the other small producers' stuff, so it is sounding more and more like a good adjunct to the retail store. I'll post here when we're ready.

The degree of support we've gotten from people around here like Mike Januik and Bob Betz is really amazing, frankly, given the fact that they didn't know us to begin with. We may, in fact, wind up doing tasting room services for some of the smaller wineries that don't taste on weekdays or at all. I'll know more about that soon, too.

Good luck with the store. The tastings for small producers sound like a winner--both for your store and for the producers.
