Another legend passes on

This has decidedly not been a good year for the wine industry. I heard yesterday that Joe Heitz passed away over the weekend. We first met him about twenty years ago, and made it a point to stop in and see him whenever we were in the area. We sort of lost touch when we moved back east a few years ago. He made very good wine. He was a very good man.

KC, Right on all points. Talked to Joe very briefly in Nov when I was in Napa. Helen said he did recognize my name. Sad, Sad, Sad. winoweenie Back in the late 70`s I had a tasting in Denver of the Martha`s from 66 thru75. Memorable!
