Yes! It was a frustrating game. Right until the end!

Great match-ups next round, as well, though Ghana and Uruguay could each beat the U.S. I pity England for their draw.

There is a just energy up there summers'. Had they called that last'un off-sidely, too-meeny-men in the huddle, or bad-breath by the U.S, I think them refs would have needed 24-hour protection. WW

This was extremely exciting but an overlooked feat that was the most remarkable sports event I've ever watched was a 1st round match at Wimbledon that broke every record for a match anywhere. The 2 exhausted players has the 5th set called because of darkness with the score tied at 59/59...That be rite folk, each player had won 59 games over the period of 4 hours. From memory I think this doubles the games of the next longest match. They resume play in the morning. WW

I saw it starting at 45-45 or so. Could only stream it in Turkish I'm hoping to find a better feed tomorrow!
I'm not a huge tennis buff, WW. Are they serving that well or returning poorly?

The final tally (for today) on that match is 163 games over 7 hours, 6 minutes!! Totally exhausting!!

Finally over!!! Isner wines afte a three day match. Now he has to play again tomorrow. I'm betting he'll be too tired to compete effectively.

There must be nothing left in that body of his... They could IV gatorade and it won't help him get sugars into his body. Great feat though for both! Glad it did not end on a disputed call too!

He lost today in one of the shortest rounds. He was so obviously totally spent. He looked like he was sleep walking (playing?).
