Just got back from working the early shift at the wine shop, and opened the gift box the owner gave me. Apparently he thinks I've been doing a decent job. The gift is a 98 Insignia. Very nice present!

OK, now you have it; what are you going to do with it? Recommendation: Put it the darkest, dankest part of your cellar, and forget it until 2012 or so.

Congrats K, and verily you must be doing a creditable job. By chance had the 99 and 2000 Insignia Friday. Both are, as usual, killer bottlings that will require some serious cellaring. Will post at the 5 year mark on this and yearly thereafter. WW

I'm putting it down in the far, lower corner of the cellar with the 97 Insignia our kids gave us last year.
