One of the folks who works in the shop came in today with a bottle of Driftwood Vineyards Armadillo Red. Brought home by his aunt from a visit to Austin.

Thanks KC. That one is in the Rosato style and is said to pair well with barbecue; confess I've not tried it. The vineyard is north of Wimberley and east of Austin. Would be interesting to see what kind of soil they've got to work with; looked at a place up there 2-3 weeks ago that had zero topsoil..... nothing but limestone from there to China.
