Just came back from the Theatres..... nicely done!! I had a blast. Just enough of a reference to the older movies and really relying on the new plot. Funny but not sure if I would have gone with the sci fi theme... I won't say any more for those that have not seen it.

Lots of mixed reviews on this movie. I'll see it, but probably on DVD.

Yeah, DVD is my preferred medium for flicks these days. Was dragged to a flick a few weeks ago but can't even recall the title. The first time I was in a theater since Last of the Mohicans.

The Last of the Mohicans? That was a movie? I thought it was just a phrase

Anyways, yes, it is by no means an art flick and it won't win any oscars, but it was fun in a reminising sort of way for us older folks who can still remember the original movies. Indy made me want to study History and be an archeologist, my parents wanted me to study Phy-Chem-Bio-Maths......

People were cheering and clapping at the scenes where artifacts from the past movies were shown and they even clapped at the end of the movie. I don't get to go out an watch movies often. The vast majority of the movies I watch are on the Airplane...... they don't clap on the airplane, they just rush to the washroom at the end of the movie...making a line that generally goes past row 22. Next movie on the list....(strange to have one on the list.... Kung Fu Panda!!!

Eng,
Funny comment about movies on airplanes. I will probably go to the theater for both the Indiana Jones movie and the Prince Caspian of the Chronicles of Narnia series but maybe in a couple weeks rather than with Memorial Day weekend crowds. Should check to see what is currently playing at the Cameo also (independent theater in downtown Fayetteville with art films and foreign films.)

I'm gonna be an old crab but poo on most movie theaters today. Most are only slightly larger than a good home theater setup, are over the top expensive and the crowds are rude. If you want to go to a "real" theater go to the Senator on York Road in Baltimore. Huge, classic theater with roomy, comfortable seats and a monster, curved screen, and you get 1 choice of a flik, not 10. That's theater!
