My Cab's TA was on the high side so I lowered it with Pot. carb. I then checked the pH, it went up to 4.2. How can I lower the pH without raising the TA?

First, this post belongs in the home winemaker forum. Second, you cannot lower TA without raising Ph. Ph is relative to acidity. The 4.2 Ph is high, but it should be ok for red wine with good tannin.
