Am Invited to Christmas dinner. Fowl will be served. I need to take a red wine, but know little about wines. Could someone help by suggesting the proper wine to take? I will appreciate your help.
Tnx.

Hi Trix, and welcome to the Wine Board. Would go with one of the bigger Cru Beaujolais such as Morgon or Moulin-A-Vent. If these are too hard to find, you could go with a 2001 Beaujolais Villages. Another option is a lighter pinot noir, for example Joseph Drouhin, LaForet, Pinot Noir. All the above is available in the $10-$15 price range.
