I know that in the last year I haven't posted much (due to pregnancy and its incompatability with wine), but I've been lurking! Anyways, I wanted to let you guys know that my DH is back from the war!!!! Yay!!!!!! He has finally met our daughter, who is now 4 months old. I'm SO happy that we're a family once again! Oh, and he told me that he wants to start drinking wine with me! Yay! (He has always been a beer-only drinker, but I guess that things are a-changin'!) We started with a bottle of Moet & Chandon (White Star) - very nice! And then toned it down a bit (can't afford Moet every day!) by next introducing him to Kendall Jackson with their Vintners Reserve Chardonnay. Next will be a cab (gotta get away from the SW, even though he is in training!).

It's good to hear about your family. Best wishes, and good luck on the training. I keep trying to find wines my wife likes.
