Want to mention that I am going to be writing a newsletter for another wine Web site (the only one that ever asked me to do it). As such, and since I recently got myself into a misunderstanding over another potential conflict of interest, I want to tell you that my posts here will be fewer and more measured.

Be very careful what you are doing ... real potential danger. You can email me if you like.

Likely not, Georgie. But since I walked away from is-wine, I have to find ways to make my words earn me a living--"it's only words, but words are all I have..."

The newsletter is to be free to readers in the hope that it brings in ad revenue. It's a hope, not a certainty.

Ditto to KC's query although I have a guess.
We will miss hearing from you regularly but will welcome your input when you can contribute.

Like a coon-ass friend once said, "I'm not sure I understand all I know about this!"

Don't understand all the implications but wish you well, Foodster.

Really famous: I thought I already was...

I am not fading away, just have to be careful that I don't come off appearing like I am advertising what I do for another Web site.

We have not solidified the arrangement yet, so it could all go bust anyway.

KC, the site is www.winetalk.com
it's run by that fellow Serge, who was thrown off the Parker board.
