A friend gave me a bottle of wine. Its label reads:
"Recolte 1994
Grand Vin De Leoville
du Marquis de Las Cases
Saint Julien
Appelation Saint Julien Controlee"
Can anyone tell me what kind of wine it is? Whether it is considered good wine? Expensive? Where it's from, etc.? I'm new at this. Thanks.

You have a decent Bordeaux wine from a so-so vintage year. The 94s are drinkable now or you can hold for a while. Not much collector's value due to the vintage.
