Crystal Beach Tx to visit her brother and S-I-L over the 4th. Leaving in the AM and will be gone a week. I know it's asking a lot but try to behave somewhat like civilized critters whilst I be gone. WW

Have a great time, ww. Haven't been in that area for about twenty years. I was there one August putting in some computers at an Exxon facility in Baytown. That was the hottest, humidest place I'd ever been to, and the smell of oil was everywhere.

Have a safe and pleasant time. I will be flying to Lincoln, NE to see my mother over the Fourth. My sister will drive in from Iowa and join us.

We be back, and not a minute too soon! Had a great time and this particular spot on the Gulf is beautiful. Not as humid as I imagined and the beach is fine sand. Lots of delicious seafood, as expected, but I've learned to appreciate Turning Leaf Chardonnay, Merlot, and was able to find 2 bottles of Zabaca Zin. In other words, this is no hotbed of wine. Glad to be home. WW
