I have the opportunity to buy some '97 Brunello di Montalcino from Bolsignano at just under $40 a bottle. It is said to be neither new-oaky nor rustic. Sounds good. Would those more knowledgeable about Italian wines venture an opinion?

Sorry WOW, was away when you posted this. Would get some so long as you feel you could wait another ten years to drink it.

I mentioned to the clerk that I wanted to buy two bottles but it was on order, not yet on hand, and I'm not certain he followed through on the request (they are storing some wine for me so it could be it was just added to the other bottles and I will be billed for it on my credit card). I haven't pursued it because I still haven't bought a wine storage unit and want to get that before summer if I am going to be storing wines for a long time.
