Stevebody,
Dates are August 5-7 in Prosser area with visits to Walla Walla wineries as well.
CCK should fill you in now that you've listed your e-mail but I don't know that she checks the board every day. If you don't get an e-mail within a week, let us know and we can forward previous e-mail to you.
WW (winoweenie) was the one who expressed interest in meeting you but that goes for all of us. We want to meet Judye too if she is up to it.

WoW,

Thanks for your invite and, yeah, Judye's up to quite a bit these days. We've even been looking for some land in Walla Walla that can serve as a home site and maybe some vineyards. After three years without, too, we finally got a dog, a Boxer, like our dearly departed Clyde, who, after a series of strokes, had to be put to sleep back in February of '02. (Still one of the five worst days of my life.)

It'll be hard, being over in Prosser, to keep Judye out of El Ranchito, in Zillah, though. She LOVES that place and sends me in there for chile powder and tortillas every time I go east of the mountains. Maybe one of you guys can create a diversion?

WW is good at creating diversions. Have you heard from CCK yet?

Glad you'll be able to make it SB. CCK is probably busy trying to make the mortgage payment. WW

I know CCK has me listed above as "in" and has my e-mail, but for whatever reason I didn't receive the Jan. e-mail. If CCK could send it again (dananne@mindspring.com), or if someone would be so kind as to forward it to me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Kat,

We'd like to add a third to our party. Judy and I will be bringing our friend Don Cronan to the August bash. We've told him how great the party was last May and how big this next one is shaping up, so he wants to be included. Hope that won't be a problem adding another person, though it seems early enough in the process to be OK.

Adding peeps at this point is not a prob. I have added a couple of people myself.

Have meeting with the hotel tomorrow. Wineries are all set up as are the dinners.

If each of you can contact the hotel yourself next month after the "group" email, that would be great-- they can then let go of any rooms not needed by us. Will leave the block open for the month of May.

The meals will be price-fixed as will the BBQ. Still deciding how to run the transportation so all are happy.

In my Viticulture finals this week, then off to Texas...
So group email maybe a little late-- but no worries...
all coming together just fine! (Also have a list of wineries in Seattle to visit for those going through Sea Tac as well.)

I have not sent out the hotel info yet. Should have our pricing and all later today or Monday. Everything should be set up by the end of this month.

Still in my finals and trying to get my cookbook running... more later.

Any recent e-mails on this that I may have missed? Anyone book anything yet? If there was an e-mail that went out since the latest of the above posts in late April, I didn't get it.

Anne's been clearing out cellar space in anticipation, and she's chomping at the bit to book it

Thanks in advance.
