Verne made reference to asking you about that "corked wine" kit that Curmy sold through the Trader, and I picked up on it.

I am starting up a seminar program at my wine shop and would love to have the kit. Is it still available, and if so, how can I get it?

This was a "special deal" that Jerry had. He got the chemical in bulk from Germany, then repackaged into small vials. None available anywhere that I know of.

"Faults in Wine-
Silver ribbed book-box set containing 12 aromas of major faults in the aromas of wines. These reference aromas are directly linked to the molecular composition of wines affected. Accompanied with an explanatory booklet."
< http://www.winetitles.com.au/publications/lenezduvin.html> Would be about $100.00 US

But Foodie just wants the TCA, not the whole kit. Those little TCA vials were only a few bucks as well.

Oh you know how Foodie is -- always saying he'd rather spend his money on food and wine instead of something tangible. Go figure.....

I want to thank both Bucko and CCK; I want to thank them but I cannot in good conscious, or is that unconcsious--oh, right, it is conscience.

TCA is in fact all I wanted. I am an expert at all the other faults, even the ones in wine. ...

Well, I am going to pop for one of the bigger kits and see how much I can learn. (Or maybe beg Bucko to borrow his for a few weeks.) And I will continue to ask around for you Foodie. CCK
