or aany other blues that mite beset youse. Had an extra bottle last nite as we had guests so was not too perky this AM. Getting ready to tackle my morning body punishment as payback for my many transgressions I put on Sinatras' CD "Alive in Paris". If this isn't his greatest recording I'll have to have proof positive of the contender. Took the sextet headed by the impeccable pianist Bill Miller, Al Viola guitar,Ralph Pena bass,Irv Cottler drums, Emil Richards vibes, and Harry Klee alto and flute with him on a world tour that started in Mexico City,Toykyo, Rome, Athens, Tel Aviv and ended in Paris. By the time this group got to the city of lights they were tighter than Buckos' grip on his wallet when the restaurant check arrives. He was absolutely flawless this nite and the sextet sounded like the 16 piece big band he sang with at the Sands. And, he ended up with 4 encores to a standing ovation and this CD has 26 (YES 26) of his greatest songs on it. And by-the-by my commish is 4cents per clatter(Jes' Kiddin'). VH I think you can find this online at BMGs' site. They have an extremely large selection of Jazz CDs. (PLUS, they're most competitive on pricing.) WW
