for a week down in Disney World territory - just Judy and me. We'll be there from Sunday to Saturday, staying just southwest of DW's entrance. Anyone have thoughts on must see places (besides Disney World and Epcot) and places to eat?

I have a friend who speaks highly of The Ravenous Pig in Orlando. Here's a link:

if you haven't seen a cirque du soleil show lately, they're always worth the experience (though expensive).

If you dine in Epcot or DW, leave a will...

Bucko, Judy said she'd think about it. The place looks good but it's about 30 miles from where we're staying.

Keith, That's one of the things Judy was definitely looking at for us to do.

Thomas, I hear that!! We didn't plan to consume any more than absolutely at the Magic Kingdom - too expensive and not all that great.

Almost forgot, KC:

Although it's not in Orlando, I'd be remiss in not mentioning the obvious...

...drive west about 90 minutes on I-4 to Tampa for dinner at Berns. My favorite steakhouse anywhere and the deepest wine cellar in the nation -- all at very fair prices. Last time I was there I had a 1978 Mondavi Napa cab and a '97 Parducci petite sirah, both by the glass. And in the dessert room, I highly recommend their Taylor flight, 2 oz. tastes of 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-year old ports.

Whatever you end up doing, enjoy your time in Fla.
