Howdy!!

I have a bottle of 1955 Yago Condal of the Rioja Santiago, S.A. of Spain.
I have been finding it difficult to get information on the wine-yards or this wine, anyone with an informed opinion about this would be greatly appreciated.

The only reference I could find for that wine was from a tasting back in April 1999. It was a bottle taken from a good cellar. The notes say that it was past it's prime then.

Many Thanks for your help!
Would you care to comment on a couple of other bottles I have? Here are the names and vintages....as you may of guessed I'm no expert in the wine-yard.
1970 Chateau Rauzan-Gassies
1974 Grand Vin de Chateau Latour
1968 Vent d'Est Reserve Speciale

Do ports count?
Robyn Port 1960

Cheers!!

p.s. If any of these are anything other than vinager, I would be tickled!

Hi Durban. The only 2 that have a chance are the 70 Rauzan and the 74 Latour. I personally haven't had either but 70 was an outstanding vintage and even tho 74 was a horrible vintage Latour is known for making great bottles in poor vintages. Open them there suckers and cross your eyes. WW Not familiar with the port house you mention but again open the dude and pray.
