Signing in from Hong Kong and Singapore this week. It's 32 degrees centigrade (a lot of farenheight)..and 95% humidity....

I found Anthony Bourdain's fav chicken and rice shop but man its a mob scene there nowadays....still lunch will set you back a whole S$3.8 or about $3 bucks...... nice to not let success go to your prices.

However, unlike the Chicken and rice and unlike PW, I will not be drinking a lot in Singapore, the land of the sling.... that's cuz liquor prices are more than a bit steep here.....gonna stick with some tea and then wait till I get back to the land of the almost free.....London.....

Chow for now!

WW, if he orders lafite for lunch, he may pay for lafite and get layfite :-)

TE, have fun in HK. I am certainly going to China this year. It will be my first experience in SE Asia. I am eagerly awaiting it...

thanks Weenie. I'll keep that in mind. Of course, the hotel does a great job of keeping pretty much anything OFF your mind. I'm staying at the Mandarin Oriental and it is really a very nice place but the service is really outworldly. It is about as good as it can get.
