Yes, I remembered this year! (did you get my e-mail, Drew?) Anyway, I have a whole day of pirate things planned for my little band of third grade buccaneers. I've already started showing the 1934 Treasure Island. Tomorrow we'll be making maps, going on a treasure hunt and all sorts of fun, but educational, activities. I have a six-foot stand-up cut-out of Captain Jack Sparrow, as well as a poster of him, and a great Jolly Roger flag to to greet the kids as they arrive. I'll let you all know how it goes.

I was so busy at work yesterday and had some temporary problems with my home computer that I was unable to post any pirate related fun but here's a little joke to start you off today.
