Idol. Reuben Studdard, the winner of American Idol will be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow ( Tuesday ) and I challenge youse guys to listen to this kid and then tell me what fluff these shows are. I know it's demeaning to have to face a T.V. but....You might learn something. WW

Go eat you TV dinner, whip over to the shopping channel and get yerself another Chia Pet, then go watch Jerry Springer so that you can learn how to sleep with your girfriend, her mother and her dad -- all at the same time. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

My dearest ww, the day I learn something from TV is the day I'll start drinking Wild Irish Rose...and don't even mention the History Lite Channel!

Verne, Dude CAN sing and the show gets extra points for him not looking like a model. It's the MUSIC I object to....

Saw and heard him on R&K this morning, and was only half impressed. Might make a good jazz singer, but won't make any money doing it.

Saw and heard Clay on GMA & R&K this morning. I think he has a great voice. Would have voted for him, if I had watched or voted.

I liked the three finalists. Tried to vote for Clay in the finale but got a busy signal every time (only tried three times). Others tried to dial in from North Carolina and couldn't get through either so he may have lost a lot of potential votes. The same thing could be true for Ruben voters also--maybe some of them couldn't get through either.

Case made and closed. Two great, diverse talents that stood out from day one and morphed into true talents with the coaching received during the run. Glad you liked Clay IK and WOW as my wife tried 22 times befote getting her vote in for him. As far as Ruebenski is concerned IK, his talent is in the R&B and ballad field. The one thing he can't sing well is jazz. Do-Wop, not Be-Bop for the big kid. WW
