What type of Wine did I buy

Hi, vacationing in Acapulco, picked up a bottle of Vin de Pays de l'Aude (CHEVALIER de
FRANCE), does anyone know the type of wine it is? The label shows VINO TINTO DE FRANCIA
Vintage.

L'Aude is a department within Languedoc-Roussillion, part of the Provence wine region in the south of France. They make a lot of less expensive wine of a number of grape varieties (incl. a decent amount of Pinot Noir). Quality varies greatly. I don't know your specific wine unfortunately.
